So get making those blocks and get your name in for the draw in July! Who wouldn't want a sewing jar quilt for their naps and cuddle times?? (Link will also be on the blog dashboard under Block Lotto.)

Kim introduced the next two blocks for her challenge: Road to California and Patience Corner. She also encouraged members to try an applique block and create 13 blocks for your piece. All information about the Challenge is found on the blog dashboard under Challenge.
Completed challenge pieces are due in September! Can't wait to see all them all!
Carol asked members to bring in modern quilting books and we all had a chance to flip through them. I heard several people say that they would be ordering a certain book now that they had seen it.
| Modern Patchwork caught my eye...lots of curved sewing in that one! |
Carol also gave a quick demonstration on making fabric postcards and distributed pre-cut pieces of Peltex as we are participating in a swap with the PEIMQG this fall.
Although we display all Show and Share pieces all evening with cards with the maker's name on it, we all love to see the pieces in their full glory..
