May Monthly Meeting

Another great meeting with some guests to share in our fun! There was a demo by Charla on postcards in preparation for our swap with the PEIMQG and next month we will be working on postcards at the meeting. Carol has posted a helpful video on our FB page. As well, Carol has asked us to bring in our favorite modern quilt book next month for some sharing about our best and most useful reads on the subject.

Kim presented the next three blocks in our Challenge: Really Split 9 Patch, Maple Leaf and Indiana Circle. All info can be found under Challenges on the dashboard.

May's Block Lotto blocks, Summer School

Our Bring and Buy Table continues to get support for our community work, the Moncton Hospice

Funds raised will help purchase batting and backings

June's block lotto block, Modern Improv  Quilt Block #2 - Playful Placement was presented by Darline. Find the instructions under Block Lotto on the dashboard.

Pat was back from her winter down south and showed some of her beautiful pieces.

Some of our members were busy at Sew Day on the weekend and brought some of the tops they finished to show. By all accounts, a grand time was had by all who attended!

And we had some show and share.

Check our Yvonne's beautiful quilt!

Lovely quilting as always!

We announced that going forward we will have a new meeting location - Christ-Roi/Christ the King Catholic Church, 300 Dominion Street. Details are in the dashboard under Meetings.

We have also agreed on meeting during the summer months and our Sew Days will be each month on the second Saturday.

Watch for more details on meeting times and Sew Day plans!
