The evening's program was presented by Lorette who gave instruction on working with wool and came prepared with felted wool kits, stitching guides and a pattern for each of us. She brought a number of finished pieces to show and explained various fusible materials and the finer points of stitching as we all cut and stitched under her guidance.

The block lotto was won by Joanne Crawford and she went home with 19 glorious Pick Up Stick blocks! At the April meeting Joanne will present the block design she has chosen for the next lotto, for blocks to be won in May.
Since Jodi won the December block lotto, she presented the block lotto block due in April. Tipsy Tumblers is a Missouri Star block and Jodi also provided each of us with a tumbler template to make our blocks. You can find the link for the tutorial on the blog dashboard under Block Lotto.
Charla extended an invitation from the PEI Modern Quilt Guild to participate in a Postcard Swap. Enthusiasm seemed high and more information will be shared soon. The May program will be focused on making postcards.
