This evenings program was presented by Hospice Greater Moncton. Debbie Landry-Jaillet, Community Coordinator gave a general talk on the foundation which will be opening their hospice residence, a first for the Moncton area, in November, 2019.

As our current community service work, we will be providing quilts for the beds in the new residence. After Debbie's presentation, members worked on blocks for the first quilts using the Scrappy Log Cabin design in a monochromatic color scheme.

At the first meeting of the MMQG, Charla MacPhee demonstrated English Paper Piecing (EPP) and members tried their hands at this trending technique. Charla recommended this video tutorial from Connecting Threads  as a learning aid.
